Good Morning. In the theme of getting on track with our blog I thought my first #MobileMonday back I would focus on one of my favorite things, coffee. I generally have a cup of coffee to start my day at home using my Keurig followed by a latte on my commute. Traffic is always a nightmare here in Seattle, if any of you have been on I405 you feel my pain. Thankfully when minutes count in ensuring I arrive to work caffeinated and on time I use the Starbucks mobile app. I can order my drink (and/or food) ahead of time and when I arrive my order is ready for me. I can either walk in and pick it up at the counter or go through the drive-thru. The app is easy to use and the more you use it the more free beverages/food you can earn. In addition you get double star days like I had today. So instead of two stars for each dollar I earned four for each dollar I spent. Every 125 stars you earn a free beverage or food item. I went to Starbucks this morning and have posted a slide show below to help you understand how easy and accessible the Starbucks app is. With the app you can reload your card and pay directly with a barcode (if you didn't use the order feature). I hope this helps convert those of you who have been tentative to try the app. Stay tuned to next week's #MobileMonday for an audiobook review for your commute.

I’m feeling a little restless today and have decided it is going to be music this morning instead of an audiobook. I think some days you just need to open the sunroof, take the more scenic route and listen to good music nice and LOUD. I have put together a perfect Monday morning playlist. I am dedicating this playlist to My Love. As I make my way from the secluded country roads to the busy highways into work I will sing my heart out thinking about my man.
You can sample my playlist on the widget above. For an added bonus see the video below of the song by Josh Turner, Why don’t we just dance? Here’s to My Love… |
